PHOENIX, N.Y. — Over the last several years Baldwinsville, N.Y.’s Jeff Abold has become one of the top big block supermodified drivers in the country with multiple big wins at Oswego Speedway’s Novelis Supermodified division and on the ISMA circuit. Doug Elkins caught up with the second generation driver to discuss his latest triumph, the 57th Annual Bob Webber Sr. Memorial Star Classic Saturday, Sept. 17 at New Hampshire’s Star Speedway. The win marked Abold’s second in the prestigious 125-lap Star Classic.
