  • This is fantastic and long overdue first step towards expanding and enhancing supermodified racing and giving it the status it deserves. I have for a long time believed that if only the supermodified community could get its act together there would be no reason why it could not be developed into a series that could rival, or at least emulate, the World of Outlaws at least as far as the NE USA and Canada is concerned. I will look forward to hopefully seeing 24-car fields of competitive, reliable racing machinery putting on great shows both in the US and Canada.

    All the best!

    • Robert, you must be glad the Canada border is open to no mandates anymore. In theory Americans can now travel there again exactly the same as we could in 2019.
I dont know if the supermodifieds will go back there in 2023, but at least it now seems to be an option again.
With the Canadian border having mandates until October of this year it was completely impossible.
I used to attend a handful of races per year in Ontario and Quebec, Went to 6 in 2019 in fact. I’ve missed the tracks, their series(Pintys), people, local food and areas. But nothing Canada offers was worth going under their strict rules in recent years. I look forward to getting back up north next year.

  • Please consider making at least one of your TBA’s Lake Erie Speedway. It’s the perfect mid way spot and still a great facility.

    • I sure hope Jennerstown brings close to a full field in May this yr…Long overdue for a great field there again.
