Oswego Winged Super Challenge #3
The final Winged Super Challenge race at Oswego Speedway in 2022. A 60-lap race for ISMA and MSS winged big-block supermodifieds carrying a $41,000 purse and $6,000 going to the winner. The event will determine the champion of the three-race Winged Super Challenge.
Winged 350 supers will serve as the support class with a 30-lap feature.
Built in 1951, Oswego Speedway remains the Home of the Supermodifieds and continues as the only track to race big-block supers on a weekly basis from late May through Labor Day weekend.
In 2022, Oswego, a five-eighths-mile oval located on the south shore of Lake Ontario about 30 minutes north of Syracuse, N.Y., will host three ISMA winged supermodified points shows tagged the “Oswego Winged Super Challenge” and promoted by longtime supermodified car owner John Nicotra, whose driver Otto Sitterly won the 2021 ISMA championship.
Each event will sport a $41,000 purse with $6,000 going to the winner and $1,200 to start. Dates are set for June 4, July 9 and August 14, all Saturday nights. A $15,000 point fund will be offered for the three races with $3,000 going to the champion.
