MANSFIELD SATURDAY 100 LAPPER RAINED OUT
Mansfield, OH – After severe thunderstorms that eventually spawned some tornadic action in the area Saturday, hit the Mansfield Motorsports Speedway, it was determined at about 10 pm that the ISMA racing had to be postponed. Only warm-ups were finished by the ISMA Lucas Oil-Helping Hands of America Super Series before the storms came. As no racing got underway, a complete program will be run on Saturday October 1 at Mansfield. Friday’s 40-lapper was run without a problem on Friday with Chris Perley getting the win.
Times will be announced in the near future. All competitors, crews etc. who have wrist bands must keep them for the October show. Check the ISMA website or www.mansfield-speedway.com for further information. This weekend is also when the MSA Cavalcade was to take place so this should be a good one for supermodified fans.
Without much down time, ISMA heads for Lee USA Speedway this Friday August 19 for a 75 lapper at that 3/8’s mile and then on Saturday, they are in Oxford Plains for a 75 lapper at that Maine oval.
