Oswego, NY (Sept. 1, 2018) - Saturday night's Jack Murphy Memorial Super Nationals at Oswego Speedway featured more than a little drama with both excitement and heartbreak, some of which started prior to the race's green flag. But in the end Ohio's Timmy Jedrzejek stood in victory lane for his fifth Super Nationals victory of his career and his seventh career-Oswego winged win overall.
The win was a popular one as attested to by the thunder of applause that erupted from the large crowd on hand, as he pulled into victory lane. The driver of the Lane 97 was ecstatic with the win, but also paused to dedicate the race to one who was not there to share the moment this night.

Delaware, Ontario - (August 18, 2018) – Mike Ordway Jr. and the Clyde Booth 61 team had had a particularly discouraging couple races, prior to the Ollie Silva Memorial at Lee USA Speedway on August 10, especially at the Sandusky Hy-Miler where Ordway was the defending race champion. But, they would not stay down too long as attested to by the fact that Mike dominated the 75-lapper at Lee taking the lead at the beginning, picking up a Shea Concrete $1000 halfway bonus along his way to a wire to wire victory. His victory at Delaware Speedway on Saturday was not a cookie-cutter of the Lee win, but more of his racing acumen coming to play as he worked his way up from ninth to the front on lap 68 to take this victory.
Oswego, N.Y. (August 13, 2018) - The ISMA contingent is starting a whirlwind couple weeks with shows at Lee USA which hosts the annual Ollie Silva Memorial race and then moves south to New London Waterford Speedbowl for their traditional Wings and Wheels. There will be little time after that to prepare for the final Delaware Speedway program and to the conclusion of the Lennox Memorial Bonus Point Fund which was announced earlier this season.
Sandusky, OH (July 21, 2018) – After a 2018 season start that was plagued by rain, the International SuperModified Association has now completed its fourth event of the season at Jukasa Speedway July 14. And with a one weekend off to prepare, it's already time for the traditional visit to the Sandusky Speedway, Ohio, for the annual Hy-Miler Fast Forty and the prestigious Hy-Miler 100, Friday and Saturday July 27 and July 28.
Lee, NH (August 10, 2018) – Mike Ordway Jr. took the Clyde Booth 61 out to the lead of the Ollie Silva Memorial at Lee USA Speedway Friday night and was really never at risk of losing it. Ordway led every lap, picked up $1000 halfway leader bonus sponsored by E.F. Shea concrete and flew to the finish after that. The large crowd on hand voiced their approval of the win by the “hometown” boy who ran a great race to claim the prize. When the announcer chided Mike a little about being a “Mainer”, Ordway's response was “It doesn't matter where I moved to, I'll always be from Fremont!.”
Nelles Corners, Ont. (July 14, 2018) – Earlier this season, Dan Bowes listed that one of his primary goals in 2018 was to 'get that elusive first ISMA win'. In 2017, his sixth season with the traveling group, he was ever so close to achieving that goal. The 2011 ISMA Rookie of the Year was making his presence known last season scoring fast times at Jennerstown, Delaware and Oswego. He ended up with a fourth place in the competitive ISMA driver point standings but that coveted win did not come despite the fact he had nine top ten finishes, two of them podiums and nothing less than a 12th place.
Sandusky, OH (July 28, 2018) – What was possibly the largest Hy-Miler 100 crowd in the Jaycox era at Sandusky Speedway, came to see a race that was anticipated to be a great one. Dave Shullick Jr., a second place finisher of Friday's Fast Forty, amidst some controversy, claimed his third win of the prestigious event, leading almost half the way after taking the point from Trent Stephens.
The story of the race might well have been the incredible run by Michael Barnes in the Vic Miller 11.
Oswego, NY (July 6, 2018) – From 1976 to 2009, the International Supermodified Association headed north of the border to the Cayuga Speedway, near Cayuga, Ontario, sometimes 2 or 3 times a season, for a total of 27 events. Many of supermodified’s legendary pilots took home checkereds at the .625-mile oval (1 K) in those years.Names such as Bentley Warren, Gary Allbritain, Jim Winks, Warren Coniam, Eddie Bellinger, Steve Gioia Jr., and Doug Heveron etched their names into the Cayuga record books from 1976 to 1985.
Sandusky, OH (July 27, 2018) - If Friday night's Fast Forty supermodified main event at Sandusky was any indication of things to come on Saturday, well hold on to your hats fans, you're in for a wild ride. The battle to the finish between race leader Timmy Jedrzejek and fellow Ohioan Dave Shullick Jr. was one for the ages. In the end, after a couple late race yellows, Jedrzejek came home with the checkered flag with Shullick not far behind in second. The results brought out the approval or disapproval of the large, vociferous crowd on hand as the dueling duo pulled into victory lane. There were moments when any slight slip up of the two might have ended with one or both not in the victory circle.
WINCHESTER, NH (June 30, 2018) – Mike Lichty didn't start his day well at all at the twice-rained out Carquest Genden Auto Parts ISMA 75 at Monadnock Speedway on Saturday, but he certainly ended the day in fine style. Starting back in 15th, he worked his way through the field at the new venue for ISMA, and into the lead on lap 56. It was a career fifteenth feature win for the Canadian driver and the first in the short ISMA season to date.
