OSWEGO, NY (April 10, 2019) – Oswego Speedway track champion, International Classic winner and Indianapolis 500 veteran, Joe Gosek, has once again been nominated for potential induction into the Greater Syracuse Sports Hall of Fame.
Gosek is on the extensive Greater Syracuse Sports Hall of Fame Master List of Nominees, of which only a handful are selected each year for induction into the Hall of Fame.
OSWEGO, NY (March 22, 2019) - The International Supermodified Association is prepared to offer an update concerning the status of its event scheduled for New York’s Lancaster Speedway on Saturday, June 1, 2019.
Due to the prospective sale of the track which has yet to ensue, ISMA’s Board of Directors recently elected to pull the Lancaster show from its schedule despite rumors of ongoing negotiations.
OSWEGO, NY (March 19, 2019) - Owner Howie Lane and Lane Racing are busy in preparation for yet another race season which again calls for full support of ISMA’s schedule, albeit with what will be a little bit different of a feel for the No. 97 team in 2019.
This year, Tim Jedrzejek, who has raced full-time with Lane for the past four seasons, will not commit to the entire ISMA tour. Jedrzejek is aiming to spend more time with his children, who both have very busy schedules competing in quarter midgets. When Jedrzejek can’t make it to the track, multi-time series champion Russ Wood will return to take over the driving duties.
OSWEGO, NY (February 20, 2019) - The International Supermodified Association will again be present at this year’s Syracuse Motorsports Expo held at the New York State Fairgrounds on Saturday, March 9 and Sunday, March 10.
Schedules and information in regards to ISMA’s 2019 campaign will be available to fans and Jason Simmons Racing will also have their winged Supermodified on hand as part of the display.

OSWEGO, NY (March 4, 2019) - In addition to displaying the Jason Simmons Racing No. 98T in the ISMA booth at this weekend’s Motorsports Expo, last year’s ISMA Supermodified rookie of the year Tyler Thompson will also partake in TQ Midget action as part of the inaugural Syracuse Indoor Auto Race.
Held inside the New York State Fairgrounds Exposition Center, the first ever Syracuse Indoor event will be held Friday, March 8 and then again on Saturday, March 9 with two complete programs for the TQ Midgets, Slingshots, and Champ Karts.
OSWEGO, NY (February 5, 2019) - Baldwinsville, NY driver Michael Muldoon and his team are preparing an all new homebuilt Supermodified for the full ISMA schedule in 2019.
Muldoon, a former main event winner in both winged and non-winged Supermodified competition, picked up his first career victory with ISMA in the Ollie Silva Memorial at Lee USA Speedway back in August of 2017.
OSWEGO, NY (March 1, 2019) - ISMA’s presence at area Motorsports Expos continues to grow for next weekend as the Morton Motorsports No. 70 is now set to be displayed at the Toronto Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo in Ontario.
Driven the past two seasons by former series champion Dave McKnight, the yellow No. 70 will be on hand at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ontario from Friday, March 8 to Sunday, March 10.

ISMA information pertaining to the 2019 season, including the series’ schedule will be available, and the Lane Racing No. 97 Supermodified, owned by Howie Lane and driven last year by Tim Jedrzejek, will be on display.
