OSWEGO, NY (July 25, 2019) - Shalersville, Ohio’s Trent Stephens already has one Sandusky Speedway victory under his belt this month, and will be making the trip from his new home in Kannapolis, North Carolina for a shot at two more checkered flags this weekend.
Stephens, who is again driving for Stout Racing, moved to North Carolina in June to begin his new position as an engineer with the Doosan Portable Power Company in Statesville.
OSWEGO, NY (July 24, 2019) - This weekend, Dave Shullick Jr. will debut the brand new Stout Racing No. 49 with the same goal the three-time Hy-Miler champion has anytime he walks into Sandusky Speedway; victory lane.
Shullick Jr. sits third on the Hy-Miler wins list and is fifth in all-time points just behind father Dave Sr, who certainly needs no introduction when it comes to Supermodified fans. Despite his Dad’s Sandusky legacy, the ‘Shoe 2’ feels no pressure.
OSWEGO, NY (July 23, 2019) - Eight time and defending Oswego Speedway track champion and former ‘King of Wings’ Otto Sitterly will be making the tow to Sandusky, Ohio for this week’s 42nd annual Hy-Miler Convenience Nationals at the Sandusky Speedway.
This weekend’s appearance will be Sitterly’s first at Sandusky since the 2017 Hy-Miler, in which the forty three time Oswego winner made his final start for Bodnar Racing. It will also mark the first time ever that a John Nicotra owned machine has seen the half mile oval.

On the heels of an impressive drive from fourteenth to second a year ago, Barnes is hoping for a repeat performance this weekend, and perhaps a change in luck. His 2018 run went to naught when he was caught in the path of a spinning lapped car while chasing leader Dave Shullick Jr.
Hagersville, Ontario, Canada (July 13, 2019) - The International SuperModified Association group has waited an inordinate amount of time getting their 2019 season started due mainly to weather, but the opener finally got in the books at the Jukasa Speedway Queenston Chevrolet 50 on Saturday. Despite bad weather which surrounded the beautiful facility on all sides, perseverance prevailed and the racing went on. No one was probably happier than veteran driver Chris Perley. The Vic Miller crew had worked hard all winter to get the 11 back to working the way it once had been.
