OSWEGO, NY (April 23, 2019) - Legendary Supermodified car owner Clyde Booth and driver Mike Ordway Jr. are busy preparing for another season together on the ISMA tour.
Booth and Ordway elected not to bring the ‘Silver Bullet’ No. 61 on the full schedule in 2017, but returned full-time in 2018 to finish fifth in the point standings with two feature wins and seven top five finishes. The duo has again signed on as a franchise team in 2019.
OSWEGO, NY (April 16, 2019) - Longtime winged and non-wing Supermodified competitor Eric Lewis will be back behind the wheel of his No. 28 machine this season and plans to hit several events on the ISMA tour.
Lewis returned to the circuit last year with his beautifully re-worked race car which had been significantly damaged in the Star Speedway Classic back in 2015. After sitting out for two seasons to repair the car, the Syracuse, NY resident was happy to get back behind the wheel.
OSWEGO, NY (April 10, 2019) – Oswego Speedway track champion, International Classic winner and Indianapolis 500 veteran, Joe Gosek, has once again been nominated for potential induction into the Greater Syracuse Sports Hall of Fame.
Gosek is on the extensive Greater Syracuse Sports Hall of Fame Master List of Nominees, of which only a handful are selected each year for induction into the Hall of Fame.
OSWEGO, NY (April 12, 2019) - Officials with the Oswego Speedway and the International Supermodified Association are proud to announce a reciprocal agreement for 2019 in an effort to increase competitor cross over between the two organizations.
The goal behind the agreement is for ISMA competitors to support Oswego Speedway with teams encouraged to participate in events using the new small wing configuration on select open dates. Likewise, Oswego competitors will reciprocate ISMA on their open dates.
OSWEGO, NY (March 22, 2019) - The International Supermodified Association is prepared to offer an update concerning the status of its event scheduled for New York’s Lancaster Speedway on Saturday, June 1, 2019.
Due to the prospective sale of the track which has yet to ensue, ISMA’s Board of Directors recently elected to pull the Lancaster show from its schedule despite rumors of ongoing negotiations.
